Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve resolution by correcting an out-of-focus image by dividing a cylindrical hologram into parts optically in its circumferential direction so that photoscanning is done more than once in a single turn, and dividing each part into more than one part and making them different in imaging distance. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical rotary hologram 1 is divided optically in its circumferential direction into, for example, ten parts 1a-1j, which are each divided optically into three parts 1, 2 and 3, thus obtaining mutually independent partial hologram. The respective partial holograms 1, 2 and 3 differ slightly in imaging distance from one another, and light spots P projected from those holograms on a projection surface 3 within the focus depth of imaging invariably free of curve distortion, so that the width of irradiation with luminous flux having small width from a spot light source 4 is obtained.
