Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate a power by using a potential energy of a water which is lifted for storage up to a high point by the use of a wave powered hydraulic pump.
CONSTITUTION: A float having the same period as wave is provided so as to make an up or down motion inside a guide column. A pump is disposed on or under the float and a pump piston is driven by a reciprocative up or down motion of the float. Proper setting of areas of the float and the pump piston may provide a required lift for the pump.
