Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase detection points and improve the accuracy of detection by irradiating the light emitted from a rotor to a photoelectric member on a stator, and obtaining the change in the electromotive force thereof as angular speed information from a pair of comb-shaped electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 made of acrylics having reflection surface 3, 4a, 4b is fixed to a revolving shaft 2. The light emitted from a lamp 5 passes through the inside of the rotor and is irradiated from light output parts 6a, 6b to the annular photoelectric member 8 on a stator 7. the stator 7 is an insulator and the member 8 is, for example, a solar battery or the like. A pair of comb-shaped electrodes 9a, 8b are formed concentrically to the member 8 on an insulation base plate 7. Since the comb-shaped parts 11, 12, 14 of the electrodes 9a, 9b are connected to the member 8 alternately, an output is taken out from the electrodes only when the light is irradiated simultaneously to one of the comb teeth of the electrode 9a and the adjacent tooth of the electrode 9b. In this way, the revolution can be converted to pulses. It is possible to increase detection points by increasing the comb teeth, or increasing the detecting parts in many plies concentrically.
