Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce wasteful power consumption, by constituting a device so as to disconnect an unnecessary electric power for a prescribed time after focusing is executed. CONSTITUTION:When a photographing lens 10 is driven by a motor M and the focusing is executed, a display element LED by a signal generated from a comparing and deciding circuit 12, also a transistor TR is turned off, and charging a capacitor C is started. An output of an operational amplifier OP maintains an L level until terminal voltage of the capacitor C attains to a prescribed value, an output terminal Q of a D-FF 18 also attains to L level, AND gates AND1- AND3 is reduced to nonconducting state, and the conduction to the motor M and an infrared light emission diode IR is cut off. When a prescribed time has elapsed, charging the capacitor C is completed, the output of the operational amplifier OP is returned to H level, the AND gates AND1-AND3 attains a conducting state again, and the operation is executed as an AF device. In this way, wasteful power consumption is reduced.
