Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve drawing-in to a phase stable point, by counting an input signal with a counter circuit in a phase synchronizing oscillator, comparing the counting value with the value of frequency dividing ratio corresponding to the phase synchronizing oscillation frequency, and controlling a voltage controlled oscillator in response to the result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted to a terminal 22 is inputted to a sampling type phase comparator 23, and a part of an output signal of a VCO26 is frequency-divided to 1/m at a frequency divider 28, and after it is shaped at a wave shaping device 29 and the input signal is sampling-compared at the phase comparator 23. The output of a comparator 25 is inputted to a correction circuit 24 via an LPF25. On the other hand, the counting value of the input signal is read out with sampling pulses from a counter 30 and stored in a latch circuit 31, this numeral and the frequency dividing ratio (m) of the phase synchronizing circuit set at a set circuit 32 are discriminated at a discrimination circuit 33, and p- signal and q-signal are outputted according to coincidence or discidence. In the correction circuit 24, if the discriminated output is the coincidence signal (p), the VCO26 is operated with the ouput of the LPF25, and if the discidence signal q, the output of the LPF25 is corrected with the signal from the correction circuit 24 and the drawing-in to the phase stable point can be achieved.
