Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the force of impact more uniform and to miniaturize a printing head as a whole, by arranging electromagnets for a plurality of printing means such that the porality of each electromagnet is the same porality as the one of the adjacent electromagnets and is opposite to the other adjacent electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnets 5 are arranged such that when they are magnetized at the same time, the same polarities are induced by a pair on the attracting end surfaces of cores 3 alternatively with opposite polarities by twos. Therefore, for example, when adjacent electromagnets A, B, C are magnetized at the same time, the electromagnet B can have the same porality as either of the adjacent electromagnets A or C and opposite porality to the other, so that the magnetic interference between the electromagnets A and B and between the electromagnets B and C can be canceled, and there is no change in the force of impact on a printing wire that will be actuated by the electromagnet B. As the same is true for all the electromagnets 5, the printing head can be miniaturized as a whole and the force of impact can be made uniform.
