Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of fuel by detecting a rotary angle and a position of top dead center of an engine crank shaft and by selecting a cylinder under combustion stroke, subsequently injecting fuel to the cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: An angle signal 11 which represents output of a rotary angle of a crank shaft and a reference signal 12 which represents output of a location of top dead center for a crank shaft enter a counter 22a. The output signal as well as the reference signal 12 enter the other counter 26 through an NAND gate 21c. An injection quantity signal 10 enters a plurality of injectors 27a. While output signals from the counter 22b enter the injectors 27a as well. Fuel is injected from only the injectors 27a installed in the cylinders operated by the counter 22b.
