PURPOSE:To obtain a rotating force by a method wherein a plurality of permanent magnets are fitted to a rotatable disk, other permanent magnets for giving repulsive forces against the former magnets are provided so that the repulsive forces between the magnets produces a rotating force. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of permanent magnets 1 are fitted to the rotatable disk 2, and permanent magnets 3 are fitted to fixed bases 6 in such a manner as to be faced to the magnets 1. The polarities of the permanent magnets 1 and 3 in this arrangement are so set that the same poles (N poles) are faced to each other, and the disk 2 is rotated by utilizing the repulsive forces between the magnets 1 and the magnets 3. The repulsive forces are regulated by changing the inclination of fitting plates 4 for the magnets 3 by adjusting screws 5, and the rotating force is regulated by fitting a large number of the magnets 3.
