Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an array antenna having a compact structure with a small number of component parts, by unifying in a body plural pannels containing the waveguide grooves corresponding to both an antenna opening part waveguide and a feeder waveguide on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Plural sheets of antenna panel 8 containing waveguide grooves 9 corresponding to both an antenna opening part waveguide and a feeder waveguide are produced by applying a mechanical working to an aluminum alloy, etc. Such panels 8 are distributed toward an array of slots 10 formed on a front panel 7, and at the same time the adjacent faces of panels 8 are unified into a body by the soldering or other process. The accuracy can be easily increased among the grooves 9 since the panel 8 is made of a sheet of plate. At the same time, the positioning is also easy among panels 8 to obtain an array antenna with high accuracy.
