Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a retroreflector of a smooth surface by providing a self- adhesive layer on a sheet-like surface, heating and melting a mixture of inorg. glass spherical particles and hot meltable and transparent powerful adhesive powder thereon, forming a binder layer thereon after solidification, and drying the surface stripped from the sheet-like surface. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive layer 1 is provided on the surface of a sheet-like object 2, and a mixture of inorg. glass spherical particles 3, 3' and hot meltable and transparent powerful adhesive powders 4, 4' is gently stuck thereon and is melted by heating so that part of the particles 3, 3' are buried in the self-adhesive layer and are arranged in a single layer. After solidification, a binder layer 6 is provided and is stripped from the surface 2, and is dried. This is used with the self-adhesive layer surface 1 on front. Thereby, the retroreflector of the smooth surface is obtained.
