Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently recover returned coke, by accomodating the returned coke in a coke receiving though attached to a pusher at an oven opening and pushing it together with product coke through the oven at the next discharging to a quenching car for recovery.
CONSTITUTION: After pusher 5 is stopped in front of carbonization chamber 2 and coke though 15 is moved from receded position C to position B below an oven opening by the actuation of driving means 13, coke is dropped by removing a cover into the through 15, which is lifted to position A of opening 3 by the actuation of driving means 13, 16. Then the coke in the though 15 is pushed by ram head 7 together with product coke in the chamber 2 through an opposite guide car into a quenching car by the forward movement of pushing beam 6 of the pusher 5. The trough 15 is lowered to the position B by actuating the means 13, 16 and the beam 6 is returned, the returned coke scraped by the head 7 being accomodated in the trough 15.
