Abstract

PURPOSE:To sufficiently absorb both low frequency deviation input and high frequency deviation input by regulating, by means of a diaphragm, the relation between the height change of a hollow cylinder made of a resilient material and the volume change of an actuated liquid chamber of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A compound engine mount 1 has a hollow cylinder 2 made of a resilient material with frame boads 3, 4 fixed thereto, wherein an engine side mounting member 5 and a frame side mounting member 7 are fixed on said frame boards 3, 4 by bolts 6, 8 respectively. The frame board 3 and the mounting member 5 clamp the first diaphragm 11 and a partition wall 12 in liquid tightness, while the frame board 4 and the mounting member 7 clamp the second diaphragm 13 in liquid tightness. With the above constitution, working liquid chambers 14, 16 and gas chambers 17, 18 are formed, wherein said chambers 14, 16 are communicated with each other through an orifice 15, while said chambers 17, 18 are communicated with the outside air through holes 19, 20, and the second diaphragm 13 is larger than the first diaphragm 11 in rigidity.
