Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit, by taking an up-pulse from a comparator as a down-pulse of dummy via a pulse delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:An AFC voltage and a reference voltage REF are inputted to a comparator 1, and an up-pulse UP is outputted when the AFC voltage is lower than the reference voltage. When the up-pulse UP is inputted to a pulse delay circuit 2, a dummy down-pulse DN is outputted after the timing estimated from the station retrieval sweep speed of a channel selector 23. In this case, a squelch signal (sg) is detected. Thus, the down-pulse DN is detected and the operation moving the reception frequency lower is avoided to simplify the device and the chance of miscatching of broadcast signal is less.
