Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high resisting capacity against vibration without any deformation during the use of a captioned metal by plastically working the bearing material of copper alloy for giving hardening work. CONSTITUTION:A full float bearing 6 is constructed of a copper alloy composed of copper, tin, lead, nickel, and others, and hardened by plastic working into the hardness of Hv 160-270. The bearing 6 is kept within the inner diameter of a bearing box 5 with a gap C1 between, while a shaft 2 is kept within the inner diameter of the bearing 6 with a gap C2 between. When the shaft 2 is rotated to generate vibration U, the inner diameter of the bearing 6 is striken and deformed. Since the bearing 6 is given a high hardness by plastic working, it is free from conventional deformations.
