Abstract
PURPOSE: To apply a synthetic resin film which is strong, is uniform in thickness, and is free from pinholes and cracks on inside and outside surfaces by containing a powdery synthetic resin in a floating and oscillating state in a vessel, passing a metallic material therein and flowing electric current.
CONSTITUTION: For example, iron or steel 1 from a coiled raw iron net 7 is passed through the inside of a resin oscillating vessel 3 through rolls 4. Synthetic resin powder 2 such as polyethylene resin is contained in a floating and oscillating state in the vessel 3, whilst electric current is flowed to the iron or steel through electrode terminals 5, 5'. Therefore, the powdery synthetic resin 2 is adhered on the inside and outside surfaces of the iron or steel 1 by the magnetism and Joule heat generated in the surfaces of the iron or steel 1, whereby the uniform synthetic resin film is formed. The iron or steel 1 formed of such film is coiled through rolls 4' and a cooling vessel 6.
