PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording disk which is capable of recording the information at a low cost, also with high density and high accuracy, by a simple constitution, by forming a tracking groove on a holding member for covering the inside and outside circumferential margins, and the bottom surface, of an information recording carrier. CONSTITUTION:A metallic film 2 is vapor-deposited on a glass substrate 1 which is thinner than usual, a holding frame 8 for covering the bottom surface is formed by fitting it to the outside circumferential margin and the outside circumferential margin of the substrate 1, and on its bottom surface, a tracking groove 9 is formed. This optical recording disk 30 is rotated centering around a rotary shaft 4, and a feed driving means 64' of a recording device 60 moves an optical system 62 in the direction of the center (arrow X) of the recording disk 30.
