Abstract

PURPOSE:To announce an incoming line number from a speaker built-in a telephone set, by assembling a voice synthesis circuit to a button telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call is present at a trunk line No.1, an incoming signal is transmitted from a station between terminals 7 and 8, and an incoming call detection circuit 2 transmits a signal to a voice synthesis circuit 6. Through this incoming detection signal, the circuit 6 produces artificially as ''Telephone call on No.1 line'' and the incoming is announced from a speaker 12 of a telephone set 11 as voice. If an incoming call comes on a trunk line No.2, the circuit 6 produces a voice signal as ''Telephone call on No.2 line'' through the output of an incoming call detection circuit 3 to announce the incoming call on the trunk line No.2 from a speaker 12.
