Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling, maintenance, and adjustment of parts and improve working efficiency by supporting a stationary side plate movably in the thickness direction of an ingot in a casting device constituting a casting area with te stationary side plate and movable beltlike boodies. CONSTITUTION:A stationary side plate 30 is mounted to a guide 38 and a support plate 32 freely slidable with a guide pin 34. Hence, such a gap G which balances with the static pressure of molten steel is formed, and by following up the same, the plate 30 comes to an optimum position and remains stationary. A spring 36 is for prevening exertion of undue stress upon the plate 30 and between movable beltlike bodies 4, 5 by giving self-resetting effect to the plate 30. Thereby, the assembling and adjusting of parts are made extremely easy, and working efficiency is improved considerably.
