Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable economical washing by a method wherein one portion of a stock liquid is introduced into a filter body through a drain sludge tank and, further, repeatedly recirculated from a filtrate side to a stock liquid side through the filter material.
CONSTITUTION: When a pressure in a boiler of a boiler body is reached to a predetermined value by filtering operation, a liquid in the boiler body is discharged. A change-over cock 7 is operated to communicate a pipe 6 and a filtrate discharge pipe 3 by a bypass circuit 21 with an opened switch valve 20 and a washing liquid filtered in a drain sludge tank 4 is introduced into a filter body 2 and filled into a stock liquid side A from a filtrate side B through a filter material. Subsequently, switch valves 14, 16, 18 are opened and, while an opening degree of the switch valve 14 is adjusted, the washing liquid is drawn out from a drain discharge pipe 5 and, at the same time, air is sent from an air supply pipe 17 and a filter cake is subjected to shock peeling by the disturbance of the liquid and bursting phenomenon of a liquid surface due to raising air bubbles.
