Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to use plural kinds of SELFOC lenses using the same receptacle by a method wherein circular holding rings are inserted in space between the lens holding part and the converging photo transmitter lens. CONSTITUTION:A pellet 7 is fixed to a stem consisting of a ceramic base 1 being soldered with a screw 3 having the hollow lens holding part 2 and a flange 4 for welding of a cap interposing a copper block 5 and an Si or diamond disk 6 between them. The cap 9 having a glass window 8 for air-tightness and for taking out of light is welded thereto, and moreover a transparent window 10 soldered thereto to utilize backward output for monitoring. To enable to arrange a photo detector for monitoring being close to the tip end part of the screw, the SELFOC lens 11 for condensing of light is inserted in the hollow part 2 of the screw 3. The circular holding rings 12 are inserted in space between the line holding part 2 and the SELFOC lens 11.
