Abstract

PURPOSE: To arrange an oil hydraulic cylinder to a fixed state and obtain large output power with small size in the above described device performing stepless speed reduction of constant speed rotary input with a slip between friction plates, by introducing pressure oil, in an oil hydraulic cylinder chamber of said device, between a sliding plate and piston.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure oil, pressing a piston 26 to a sliding plate 41, passes through an orifice 36 to enter a fine hole 57 and oil groove 58 and pass through a sliding surface of the piston 26 and the sliding plate 41, then radially flows and is decreased its pressure. In this way, load capability can be increased while decreasing surface pressure of the sliding surface, simultaneously a slide bearing with a long life can be formed between the piston and the sliding plate, thus a small typed power transmission device of large output can be obtained.
