CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical permanent magnet 10 with magnetic poles N and S arranged radius-wise acting for example as an inner rotating member is fixed on the outer circumference of a rotating shaft 9. Pole pieces 11 are provided as prescribed along the outer circumference of the permanent magnet 10. Adjacent to the outer circumference of the pole pieces 11 is a cylindrical, rotating iron core 15 that is an outer rotating member, with a gap 14 between the two. The rotating iron core 15 is supported by the rotation shaft 9 by a supporting member 16 made of non-magnetic substance.
