Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the simple construction of a pump and to facilitate the assembly of the pump by a method wherein outer and inner motor casings and a pump casing etc. are formed by a press formed steel plate, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The outer casing 10 of a motor is constructed such that a steel plate is deep drawn to form a cylindrical cup and a motor stator 14 is fixed to the inner circumference of the casing. In the casing 10 is inserted a motor inner casing 22 which is formed similarly as above and then a motor rotor 40 is stored. In turn, a pump casing 12 is constructed such that a suction port 26 is deep drawn and an entire casing is drawn to form a lid-shape. Impellers 66 fixed to a rotor shaft 42 are stored in the casing. In the opening part of said casing 22 is arranged a circular partion plate 62 to separate the motor part from the pump part. In the casing 22 are stored a pair of bearings 36, 38 having outer diameter larger than that of the motor rotor 40 and having axial concave grooves at their outer circumferential surfaces.
