Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent dew condensation on outside surface of an air cooler cabinet by providing an electric heater inside an external panel of the cabinet with the heater turned ON while a colled water circulating pump is in operation.
CONSTITUTION: Cool air can be blown out of an air outlet 2 for air conditioning with a blower 5 being activated at lower or higher speeds while circulating cooled water being produced in the process of refrigeration cycle or the means, through a heat exchanger 8 using a circulating pump. While the circulating pump is in operation, a set of contents 14 in an electromagnetic switch is closed so that a heater 12 which is connected in series with the set of contacts 14 remains turned ON as along as the circulating pump is in operation to warm up the bottom external panel 13 of the cabinet 3. When turning OFF a speed changeover switch 15 to shut off cool air flow into the room, the circulating pump remains activated because of a separate circuit so that the heater 12 also remains in heating condition regardless of the operation of the blower 5 to prevent dew condensation on the outer panel.
