Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch channels naturally at the channel selection time, by providing a data latch means where a function switching data signal and a sound volume controlling data signal are stored and by not only switching functions but also controlling the sound volume by the output of this data latch means. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor to which the switching signal is inputted from a function switching operation part at the channel selection time of a synthesizer receiver is provided. The microprocessor gives a clock, a strobe, and a programmed data signal to a control signal generating circuit 16. The control signal generating circuit 16 consists of a shift register 17, a latch circuit 18, a decoder 19, and a drive circuit 20, and the data signal from the microprocessor is stored in the latch circuit 18 through the register 17. The output of the latch circuit 18 is given to the drive circuit 20 through the cecoder 19, and a sound volume control circuit is controlled to fade in and fade out at the function switching time, thereby switching channels naturally.
