Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce a power driving force of regenerative body having a rectangular shape in which a number of regenerative plates are piled up in a properly spaced relation, by a method wherein flowing passages for two kinds of fluid to be heat exchanged are exchanged with each other in sequence by moving a light partition plate.
CONSTITUTION: Heat exchanger unit 1 is constructed such that a number of asbestos piled plates or rectangular heat accumulation plates 3 such as bricks etc. having a heat accumulation and humidity storing characteristic are arranged with a proper space (g) therebetween along a longitudinal direction in the rectangular cylindrical case 2. Partition plates 4a, 4b are arragned at both open ends of the case 2 in such a way as they may be reciprocated simultaneously in the same direction along its longitudinal direction and air passing holes 5a1, and 5b1... are arranged to be inclined with each other through a space (g) between the heat accumulation plates 3. Each pairs of the air passing holes form an inlet and an outlet for fluids 6a, 6b flowing in an opposite direction to be heat exchanged alternatively. Then, when the partition plates 4a, 4b are reciprocated, two positions where the fluids 6a, 6b are passed in the heat exchanger 1 are changed over in sequence.
