Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically perform tension adjusting for an endlss running unit in transmitting operation, by using an oil hydraulic circuit and constituting a tension applying means giving prescribed tension through a tightener to a loosened side of the endless running unit.
CONSTITUTION: :A wrapping connector driving device A is constituted by wrapping an endlss running unit 6 to sprocket wheels 4, 5 fixedly provided respectively to a driving shaft 1 and driven shaft 2, and an automatic tension adjusting device B is provided in a loosened side of the endless running unit 6. This adjusting device B is to apply tension to the endlss running unit 6 through a tightener 7 consisting of a bow-shaped belt plate pivotally supported with one end by a pivot 7A and constituted by integrally providing a cylinder device 18 to a unit block 12. This cylinder device 18 comprises a piston 14 pushed out by a spring 19 to cooperatively perform pumping action with the tightener 7, and oil in an oil sump is fed to a cylinder 18A through oil passages 15, 15A at the opening time of a check valve.
