Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a compact, light weight sprayer capable of easily adjusting the degree of spraying by providing an electric vibrator at a base provided with a hornlike pressure chamber and also a nozzle with plural small holes at the tip of the sprayer.
CONSTITUTION: As soon as a combustion fan 4 is actuated by a controller 31, a driver 35 is actuated to supply AC power to an electric vibrator 17. Air pressure by the fan 4 is supplied to a leveler 8 to press on the surface 37 of fuel oil, whereby it is filled up to a nozzle 23. When applying voltage to a vibrator 17, a drum-shaped deflection is produced in the directin of the nozzle 23 to grow greater pressures increased in a horn shape, whereby causing fuel oil to discharge from a small-diameter nozzle 22. Also, when supplying a reverse polarity voltage to the vibrator 17, a negative pressure is produced to suck up fuel oil from a fuel liquid supply chamber 14. Since a reciprocal drum-shaped deflection movement is produced in the electric vibrator 17 by a high frequency of approx. 10W50kHz, the particle size of fuel oil jetted from the small-diameter nozzle 22 can be made into fine particles of approx. several to tens μm.
