Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a gas-solid contact reaction device which treats waste gases contg. high dust efficiently over a long period of time by providing stationary cylin drical bodies at both ends of a freely rotatable cylindrical catalyst packed chamber, and dividing one of the cylindrical bodies by means of a partition plate. CONSTITUTION:Stationary cylindrical bodies 12, 13 which are concentrical and co mmunicate with only the inside of a freely rotatable cylindrical catalyst packed chamber 10 packed with catalysts 11 are provided at both ends of the chamber 10. The one body 12 is divided to an introducing chamber 15 and a discharging cham ber 16 for waste gases by means of a partition plate 14. In spite of the conduction of the waste gas of high dust into the catalysts 10 via the chamber 15, blowing and depositing of dust by the turning back waste gas are obviated. Hence, the dirty waste gas is treated efficiently over a long period of time.
