Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the assembly work with a simple construction of an insulation paper by solidly forming a phase-to-phase insulator between a main winding and an auxiliary winding and an end insulator between the top surface of the winding and the inner surface of a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A phase-to-phase insulation paper 9 which successively has a leg section 9a to insulate between a main winding 2 and an auxiliary winding 3 and an end insulation section 9b to insulate between the end of each winding and the inner surface of a bracket at a coil end of a stator core 1. The phase-to-phase insulation paper 9 is formed for example by bending a circular insulation paper and mounted simultaneously with the insertion of the winding into the core 1. This dispenses with a special end insulation paper while eliminating the need for securing a space between the winding and the bracket, ensuring a thinner configuration.
