Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an image-forming material superior in peeling development performance, by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a film-forming polymer, an ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a specified amount of inorganic particles, on a transparent support. CONSTITUTION:Inorganic particles having 0.1-20 micrometer average particle diameter, such as clay, are used as a filler. An image-forming material is prepared by forming on a transparent support a photopolymerizable composition layer incorporated with (A) 100pts.wt. film-forming polymer, such as alkyl (meth)acrylate type polymer; (B) 10-300pts.wt. ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable compound, such as acrylic acid; (C) 0.1-20pts.wt. photopolymerization initiator, such as benzoin; and (D) 1-50wt% inorganic particles basing on the total weight of the photosensitive layer.
