Abstract

PURPOSE:To record picture information with recording apparatus which is easily manufactured and assembled by using simple lenses, by arranging numerous luminous elements and a plural number of image formation lenses in parallel, and by forming images of the light of the luminous elements on the surface of the photosensitive substance as inverted images. CONSTITUTION:An image formation lens system 20 composed of single lenses 20a, 20b, 20c... is installed correspondingly to each light emission diode element (LED) group between a photosensitive substance 11 and a solid luminous element array 19 composed of numerous LED groups 19a, 19b, 19c.... A douser 33 is installed to shield each LED group 19a, 19b... from lights coming from other sources, and another douser 32 is also installed to the lens system to shield the system from lights coming from sources other than each corresponding LED group. To input picture information signals into LED groups 19a, 19b..., each lense 20a, 20b... corresponding to each LED group 19a, 19b... is driven in the direction which is the reverse of the direction in which pictures are scanned. After electrostatic latent images are formed by forming inverted images on the photosensitive substance 11 by using an image forming device 13 constituted in such way, the toner development is performed by a developing device 14 and the images are transferred on a transferring paper 22. Thus, copying and recording are made easily and inexpensively.
