Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition which facilitates the homogeneous mixing of the two liquid at a specific ratio and spraying of the mixture, and increases the adhesive strength, by adding a viscosity regulator to a solution or emulsion of a synthetic resin or rubber, and a solution of a curing agent, a coagulating agent, etc.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A solution or emulsion of a synthetic resin (e.g. resorcinol- phenol co-condensation resin, etc.) and/or a rubber and (B) a solution or dispersion of a curing agent (e.g. formaldehyde) and/or coagulating agent (applied to the emulsion, e.g. a combinating of an alkali or a salt and a surface active agent) are incorporated separately with (C) a viscosity regulating agent (e.g. PVA, etc.). The (A) and the (B) components containing the (C) component are mixed together just before spraying or in air after spraying. The pref. ratios of the components (A), (B) and (C) are 20W150wt%, 20W300wt%, and 1W50wt%, respectively.
USE: Bonding of wood boards such as wood plates, plywood boards, particle boards, etc.
