PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by using the output of a P-CH (calling channel) private oscillator as a local signal of the receiver and breaking the power source of a frequency synthesizer at the P-CH receiving time. CONSTITUTION:When P-CH of a standard value or more is detected by a signal which monitors the receiving field intensity, a control part 51 stops switching of P-CH to acquire P-CH and changes over a P-CH switch 72 to connect a P-CH private oscillator 73 corresponding to the P-CH to switch 71. After that, the switch 71 connects the output of the P-CH private oscillator 73 to a receiving local 32 by the instruction of the control part 51, and a power supply control circuit 52 breaks the power source of a synthesizer.
