Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the construction without using a fly wheel, by combining an electric brake with a generator and suppressing transient revolution increase at the time of being separated from a hydraulic machinery system. CONSTITUTION:Electricity is generated by connecting a generator 3 with an electric brake and a hydraulic turbine 1. When an accident occurs to a system and generator load is nullified, a hydraulic turbine guide vane will be closed quickly, and simultaneously the brake will be operated by creating a signal from the same control system to the generator 3 brake. The generator 3 acts to control its revolution, resisting energy for increasing revolutional speed of the hydraulic turbine, thereby suppressing the transient revolution increase.
