Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cracking or chipping and to increase the recording efficiency, by cutting the tip part of an auxiliary magnetic pole into a taper. CONSTITUTION:The 1st side holder 12 made of a nonmagnetic material is adhered to the opposite side face of a prismatic auxiliary magnetic pole 11 having its tip side face cut into a taper angle of 5-60 deg. plus a section measurement of several 100mum and excepting the tip of the pole 11. Thus a block matter is obtained. This block matter is fitted to the hollow of the 2nd side holder 13 made of a nonmagnetic material and having a U-shaped section to be held there. A groove 14 is provided from the tip through the side face of the magnetic pole of the holder 13, and an electrode lead terminal 15 is adhered to the edge part of the groove 14. Then a lead wire 16 with one of its ends connected electrically to the terminal 15 is led to the tip part of the pole 11 and wound around the tip of the pole 11 with a jig 17 touching the tip of the pole 11 used as a guide. Thus an energizing coil 18 is obtained.
