Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a foaming agent masterbatch which diffuses extremely rapidly during the molding and foaming, and gives excellent and uniform foams, by compounding an aliphatic amide in combination with azidicarbonamide to polyethylene resin used as a carrier resin.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyethylene resin is compounded with (B) 5W150pts.wt. of azodicarbonamide and (C) 20W1pts.wt., based on 100pts. of the component (B), of an aliphatic amide. The polyethylene resin is pref. a high density polyethylene resin having an MI value of 0.1W40. The carrier resin is a polyethylene resin used in the molding and foaming.
