Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the operating position to be made clear, by a method wherein resistors having their respective rsistance values are connected to respective contacts in parallel, and the resistance values are measured in a signal-receiving part. CONSTITUTION:When the contact of sensors 2-7 are all closed, one potential of a comparator 16 is the ground potential, whereby all of the contacts are judges to be closed. As an example, when the sensor 5 is opened, a voltage drop occurs owing to a resistor 12 (8XROMEGA). This potential appears on a signal line 8, becoming an input to the comparator 16. A control circuit 18, which is acutated by means of said input, varies a reference voltage 17 in order to detect the voltage drop due to the resistor 12. Because the resistance values of the respective sensors are different from each other, the sensors are also different from each other in, the voltage drop. Setting each resistance value to be an n-th power of 2 permits knowledge of which sensor has operated even when a plurality of sensors are in operation simultaneously.
