Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the hot water supply device which stores and supplies hot water heated by a solar energy collector to supply hot water of a substantially constant temperature all the year through by a method wherein a hot water supply electromagnetic valve is controlled in accordance with the temperature at the outlet of the collector through a temperature controller.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of using the solar energ collector 3 in combination with a bath tub 1, the water from a water supply pipe 14 is introduced to a flush tank 4 located at a position upward the collector 3 through a pressure reducing valve 13 and an on-off valve 6, and then into the lower part of the collector 3. Hot water obtained by heting thus introduced water by the collector 3 is supplied from a hot water supply pipe 8 through the electromagnetic valve 7 into the bath tub 1. The water of the water supply pipe 14 is also supplied to the bath tub 1 through a supplemental hot water supplier 12 and a mixture valve 15. In this instance, the solar energy collector 3 is provided with a temperatre sensor 10, which sends out an output to control the electromagnetic valve 7 through a temperature controller 9 so as to store a small quantity of hot water of a relatively high temperatre or a large quantity of hot water of a relatively low temperature.
