Abstract

PURPOSE: To work a speed controlling regenerative brake effectively by detecting the speed of a train.
CONSTITUTION: The speed of the train is detected by means of a speed generator 8, and introduced into a control circuit. A level discriminator 9 makes output to be "1" when input is larger than some threshold and it to be "0" when input is smaller than the threshold. In the controller to which such a circuit is mounted, when the speed of the train is lower than the threshold of the discriminator 9 a command of the regenerative brake does not function because the output of the discriminator 9 is "0" even when a command is given from a speed controlling brake command device 10, and the command of the regenerative brake is merely held. Thereafter, the speed of the train increases as the speed controlling brake command is left as it is given, and exceeds the threshold of the discriminator 9. When the output of the discriminator 9 is "1", the command of the regenerative brake functions, and the brake can be brought to a speed controlling condition.
