Abstract
PURPOSE:To have a display used in a car with good indication effectiveness both day and night by installing a fluorescent lamp and a flicker in a box having a transparent or half transparent facade and operating them selectively by a switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:Information etc. entered in a transparent or half transparent facade 11A of the box 11 of display 10 is illuminated by a fluorescent lamp at right and by flicker in the daytime. The switch 28 shall be turned on and switches 29, 30 set to the positions as illustrated. Approx. 3V source voltage is impressed on a flicker driver circuit 16 and a high-tension lamp 24 emits the light intermittently at a rate, for ex., of 1-2/sec. When the switch 30 is turned to the 12V side shown by broken line, a builtin 3V battery 17 is disconnected from the circuit and the voltage of battery 27, approx. 12V, is sunk to approx. 3V by a diode 31 for impression on the flicker driver circuit 16. If the switch 29 is, under this state, turned to the position as shown by broken line, the 12V of battery voltage is directly impressed on the fluorescent lamp driver circuit 14 and the fluorescent lamp 13 will light up.
