PURPOSE:To prevent breaks of resin on a tunnel gate part from extending to the molded part when said resin is cut off from the molded part by a method wherein the tunnel gate is provided to connect a runner to a cavity and pins are arranged at one end of the runner to reduce thickness of the runner. CONSTITUTION:A runner 3, a cavity 4 and a tunnel gate 5 are provided in a mold A and a pin 14 is arranged at one end of a runner 3 connected to the tunnel gate in the mold A. When resin is injected in the mold, the thickness of resin reduces at one end of the runner into which the pin 14 of filled resin projects. When the molded part and the runner part of filled resin are projected by ejector pins 8, 12, 13 and the mold part is cut off at the opening part to the cavity of the tunnel gate, the thin thickness part of the runner is subjected to elastic deformation and overload is prevented from being given to the opening part to the cavity of the tunnel gate.
