Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a tape loading device, by constituting a rack with a flexible material and forming a guide groove that holds movably the rack with a cetain curvature. CONSTITUTION:Racks 22 and 23 made of a soft material are provided into rack guiding grooves 24 and 25 to slide within the grooves 24 and 25 by the rotation of a rack driving gear 27 that engages the racks 22 and 23. At the same time, the rack 22 has a tooth form of an internal touch gear that engages a gear 27 with a curvature RA centering on O1; while the rack 23 has a tooth form of an incrcribed gear that engages the gear 27 with a curvature RB centering on O2. On the other hand, the groove 24 is formed with RA during the section shown by theta1; while the groove 25 is formed with RBduring tge section shown by theta2, respectively. The grooves 24 and 25 are formed in the sections excepting the above-mentioned ones with a curvature approximate to RA and RB, respectively. in such constitution, the load during the rack driving can be reduced.
