Abstract

PURPOSE:To cool favorably a stator of motor even when the motor is operating in low speed by a method wherein a heat pipe is inserted in the tator, radiating fins thereof are made to face with blade type cooling fins fixed to a rotary shaft, and forced ventilation is performed by a blower. CONSTITUTION:The heat pipe 21 is inserted in the stator 7 and one end thereof is made to be protruded from a motor case 10, and the plural stator radiating fins 23 are inserted on the protruding part 21c thereof to be disposed in a row. The rotor shaft 13 is made also in heat pipe construction, one end thereof is made to be protruded from the motor case, and the blade type cooling fins 17 are provided in the region of the stator radiating fins 23. Moreover exhaust holes 27 are provided in the motor case 10 at the positions corresponding to the stator radiating fins 23, the blower 31 is provided at the axis directional end part, and forced ventilation is performed by this blower 31 to send air flow passing through the blade type cooling fins 17, the stator radiating fins 23, and coming out to the holes 27.
