Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate gap between a magnetic wedge and a core to make effect as the magnetic wedge to be displayed mach more and to contrive to enhance efficiency of the core of a rotary electric machine by a method wherein after the magnetic wedge is inserted in the opening part of a core groove, the core and the magnetic wedge are welded to be integrated in one body. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic wedge 8 having projections 8a is driven in the opening part of a slot 2 accommodating a winding 1. The projections 8a are irradiated with an electron beam or a laser beam to be melted, and core teeth and the magnetic wedge are welded burying the gap 7 between the core teeth 6 and the magnetic wedge 8.
