Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a transport pipe from being blocked in pipe conveyance of powder utilizing gas, by providing a box making resonance with pulsation of said gas so that the conveying pipe may be vibrated.
CONSTITUTION: A resonance box 4 is provided adjacently to a junction of a transport pipe 11 and a powder supply pipe 3. Further, the transport pipe 11, adjacent to said junction, and its accessories are maintained in the status allowing vibration by means of springs 7, 8. Compressed air from a blower 2 includes a component of oscillation frequency generated depending upon the rotational speed of the blower 2 and the number of its blade, while the component grown up to resonance wave in a resonance box 4 which may force the powder mixed in the air to be conveyed to its destination through a transport pipe 12. Compressed air flow from the blower 2 causes air column resonance vibration in the box 4, while a transport pipe system is always excited at a resonance point and causes intense vibraton, in response to the spring constant of springs 7, 8. Accordingly, the powder can not easily stick to the inside wall of transport pipe due to reduced friction.
