Abstract

PURPOSE: To adhere a polyester resin with a various kinds of base materials strongly by using as an adhesive a resin composition which is prepared by mixing a blocked polyisocyanate compound with a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate compolymer at a specified ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture prepared by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate compolymer (preferably the compolymer having a melt index of 1W500g/10sec and containing 10W50wt.% of vinyl acetate before saponification) of a degree of saponification of 1W50mol% and (B) 0.01W5pts.wt. of a blocked polyisocyanate (e.g., tetramethylene di-isocyanate) is kneaded by a Banbury mixer or the like to obtain a resin composition. The composition is then formed into a sheet, the sheet is placed between a polyester resin and one of various kinds of base materials, and the polyester resin and the base material are adhered together by thermocompression.
