Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the circuit constitution small and to prevent degradation of the picture quality, by using a reverse search mechanism as a magnetic tape rewinding mechanism for reversal join recording also. CONSTITUTION:In the recording mode, when a temporary stop signal (a) is inputted, a reverse search signal is transmitted from a control circuit 1 to operate a reverse search mechanism 3, and an actuator 5 is set to the reverse search mode. Next, a control signal reproduced by the mechanism 3 is counted by a counter in the control circuit 1, and the mechanism 3 is stopped when the count value becomes a prescribed number. Next, when the temporary stop instruction is released, a signal circuit 2 is set to the reproducing mode by a reproducing mode signal (b), and a control signal (e) is counted down by the counter in the control device 1, and a recording mode signal (c) is replaced when the count value becomes zero. During this operation, a motor included in the actuator 5 is so driven that a synchronizing signal (f) to be recorded coincides with the control signal (e) to be reproduced in a phase matching circuit 4 by a servo control signal (g) from the control device.
