Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the inside of a machine from dirt and a copying sheet from reattachment of developer by scraping magnetic developer offset to a fixing roller with a scraper and temporarily storing the scraped developer after it is collected. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic developer 2 offset to the sruface of a fixing roller 1 is scraped with a scraper 5 elastically contacted with the roller 1. The scraper 5 is installed in the opposite direction against the rotating direction of the roller 1. In front of the scraper, a spooning up member 6 is fitted with slight contact to the roller 1 in the anti-counter direction direction to the rotation of the roller so as to gather the magnetic ceveloper scraped out by the scraper 5. A magnet 7 which magnetically attracts the magnetic developer spooned up by the spooning up member 6, is installed on a frame body 8, and a closed space which stores the developer is formed by the scraper 5, spooning memner 6 and frame body 8.
