Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the heat exchange efficiency by providing an annular water chamber divided into upper and lower parts and a vertically long convection chamber are provided at the upper part of a combustion apparatus, and communicating the upper water chamber with the lower part of the convection chamber and the lower water chamber with the upper part of the convection chamber.

CONSTITUTION: Annular water chambers 6 and 7 divided into upper and lower parts through a gap S, and provided at the upper part of a gas combustion apparatus 3, and an oblong convection chamber 16 is provided at the center part of the upper and lower water chambers 6 and 7. A communicating pipe 17 led out from the upper part of the upper water chamber 6 is inserted through the upper part of the convenction chamber 16 and opened in the vicinity of the lower bottom, and a communicating pipe 18 opened in the vicinity of the upper part within the convection chamber 16, is introduced from the lower bottom of the convection chamber 16, and communicated and opened to the bottom part of the lower water chamber 7. To the water chamber 6 communicated with a water supply pipe 14 and the water chamber 7 communicated with an oil extracting pipe 15, there are projected and formed pleat shaped heat exchange parts 10 and 11.
